NCGA.org Project Details
From strategic and architectural design, working with all departments to identify needs and goals, refining content and functionality, onto the complete redesign, development, and management of the NCGA.org website.
Full site redesign and development using WordPress. Web & Marketing materials such as; brochures, web/email banners, flyers, icons, logos, and magazine ads were also designed for various campaigns and initiatives.
In addition, the site features custom development of rich & dynamic features such as:
- Tournament Calendar (Javascript, WP-REST API)
- Golf Course Directory (WP-REST API, Vue.js)
- Tournament Volunteer & Events management portal* (WP-REST API, Javascript, PHP, AWS RDS)
* Utilizing the WordPress REST API to create dynamic reporting and organization of events and volunteer information, connected to an AWS RDS server instance(s). This web application allows for tournament volunteers to login and selects the tournament event days these wish to work, along with a custom view of their schedule. For staff, this application allows for event creation tied to specific locations and the management of a Volunteers schedule and personal records (such as test scores, and days worked, contact info, etc…), and to set Tournament Officials for each tournament. Additionally, reporting features were developed for staff to quickly see event day info, and manage a help-list, for tournaments in need of volunteers.
